Don't take this as a personal attack, please, because it isn't in any way.

First of all, The problem with Reality TV is that it is not real. Each version of Big Brother, for instance, is a completely contrived exercise, ergo we find the whole thing as dull as a dead dog. I completely agree with this. Very true.

Your suggestion for a reality TV show, however, is not any more real than that is. The muggings, the rapes, the kidnappings, would all be planned. If you want that kind of reality, go watch the news.

These people would be entering a show in hopes of keeping their lives. That's intense and brutal. I don't think you'd have any takers.

I think there is no such thing as reality TV - because MTV has their "real world" which is nothing like the real world. All of the other channels have simulations that try to do the same thing.

People watch that crap because their lives are not exciting. I don't think real reality TV can exist because if you filmed REAL reality, it would be boring as hell. It would be like having a camera follow you around in all your daily activities. Do you honestly think your life is so exciting that millions of people want to know about it? Mine certainly isn't. If yours is, go write a book and then it will be made into a movie if it truly is that exciting.

A flair for fiction and drama, that's what people want.

Again, this is only my opinion. You're free to argue...carinnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04592662181579335146noreply@blogger.com
